For more than 100 years, the Kanawha County Public Library (KCPL) system has been the heart of Kanawha County.
Everyone has a Loving My Library story. It’s where children discovered the magic of reading. It’s where endless resources for knowledge begin. It’s a high tech lifeline for people of all ages. It’s where our community comes together.
On November 8, please Vote YES to continue supporting the library levy that passed in 2018. This is not a new tax. The library levy provides 40% of the operating costs for the Main Library in Charleston, nine branches throughout Kanawha county and the Mobile Library. The South Charleston Public Library and Nitro Public Library will also continue to receive funding if the levy passes in November.
LovingMyLibrary.com will allow you to learn more about the levy election, give you an opportunity to join our effort and contribute to the campaign, and, most importantly, allow you an opportunity to express your love for your library, wherever it may be.
